Lock and Load Defender
Concealed Handgun License training classes
Lock and Load Defender will provide students with the required class room training so they may complete the application process for obtaining a Texas (LTC) License to Carry a Handgun License.
This class room training provides students with the knowledge of where and when they may carry their handgun in the open or concealed positions
Classes cover the four required training modules: Laws and Regulations for concealed carry, Use of Force and Deadly Force, Non-Violent Dispute Resolution and Safe Handling and Storage and use of a Belt or Shoulder holster for open carry. A 25 question test will be given at the end of the class and students must score 70% to pass.,
Firing range qualification will also be conducted after the class room portion is completed. Shooting qualification consist of firing 50 rounds of ammunition at a B-27 silhouette target. Students must pass with 70% or 175 points out of 250 total points.
